UAE – This year, Emirates Health Services (EHS) is making waves with an impressive showcase of 13 groundbreaking projects, emphasizing its dedication to family-centered healthcare and solidifying the UAE’s position as a global leader in health sector innovation.
Speaking on the importance of these advancements, Dr. Yousif Mohammed Al Serkal, Director-General of EHS, remarked, “Innovation is no longer a choice; it’s a necessity for building a resilient healthcare sector capable of addressing future challenges.”
EHS is set to take center stage at the 50th edition of Arab Health, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre from January 27 to 30.
With the theme “The Future of Health Now,” this milestone event will highlight the UAE’s commitment to pioneering healthcare technologies and solutions.
EHS plans to present 19 forward-thinking initiatives, including 13 that are being introduced on both regional and global platforms for the first time.
These projects span six strategic focus areas: family health, community care, mental health, digital health, sustainability, and quality of life.
Partnering with 23 strategic organizations, EHS is leveraging advanced technologies like artificial intelligence to personalize patient care and build sustainable healthcare models that address future challenges.
These collaborative efforts aim to reimagine the healthcare landscape, blending innovation with practicality to create long-term solutions.
Adding depth to the event, the 3rd Emirates Health Services Healthcare Excellence Symposium will feature 15 high-impact lectures from leading healthcare and academic professionals.
Topics will range from organ transplantation to the cutting-edge field of space medicine, providing attendees with a wealth of expert insights.
The relevance of these efforts is undeniable. As Dr. Al Serkal explained, “We aim to present an innovative and sustainable model that prioritizes human happiness and enhances the quality of life.”
By focusing on family-centric care, EHS underscores the UAE’s dedication to nurturing its citizens through advanced treatments such as genetic medicine and precision medicine, ensuring that these solutions are both accessible and scalable.
Strategic collaborations further highlight the UAE’s commitment to innovation. Partnerships with organizations like the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation and AbbVie Biopharmaceuticals are driving progress in mental health, AI-driven solutions, and digital healthcare—critical areas in addressing the healthcare challenges of today and tomorrow.
Arab Health, the Middle East’s largest healthcare event, marks its golden jubilee this year, and EHS’s participation is a clear declaration of its ambitions.
By showcasing its visionary projects and hosting transformative discussions, EHS aligns itself with the UAE’s national goals and global vision.
This year’s event arrives at a pivotal time, as the UAE continues to establish itself as a global innovation hub.
EHS is amplifying this momentum with initiatives such as signing 12 key Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and organizing a youth circle titled “Youth Leading the Health Sector into Space.”
