SINGAPORE – Avantor Inc., a leading global provider of essential products and services to the life sciences and advanced technology industries, has won two important awards at the Asia-Pacific Biopharma Excellence Awards (ABEA) 2025.

These awards highlight Avantor’s dedication to offering high-quality solutions in biopharma manufacturing, addressing challenges in logistics, and optimizing supply chains to improve efficiency.

Avantor received recognition in two categories:

MedExpo Africa 2025

  • Best Bioprocessing Supplier Award: Chromatography

The awards emphasize Avantor’s strong position in providing innovative solutions to the biopharma industry.

As the only open-architecture provider, Avantor offers complete design, manufacturing, and logistical support worldwide. Its single-use systems help improve flexibility and speed in biopharma production, meeting the various needs of biotech companies globally.

Avantor’s range of chromatography resins and production technologies allows for the fast and scalable delivery of high-quality therapies.

The company’s ability to support clients from early research to large-scale production ensures that it remains a key player in advancing medicine and healthcare.

Avantor serves over 300,000 customers in 180 countries, helping to drive breakthroughs in science and technology.

“Our advanced chromatography resins, including PROchievA and J.T.Baker Bakerbond, provide unique selectivity for next-generation therapies across the Asia-Pacific region.”

The Asia-Pacific Biopharma Excellence Awards (ABEA) recognize achievements and innovations in the bioprocessing industry across the region. Winners are selected by a panel of industry experts based on their contributions to improving the industry.

In another development, Avantor has partnered with TriLink BioTechnologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, to make TriLink’s nucleic acid products more available across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

This partnership will improve the ordering process and reduce lead times for European customers, making TriLink’s advanced technologies more accessible.

“This partnership is a significant step in expanding access to our innovative nucleic acid technologies across Europe,” said Becky Buzzeo, Chief Commercial Officer at TriLink.

“By working with Avantor and using their wide distribution network, we can better meet the growing demand for cutting-edge solutions in the region.”
