SAUDI ARABIA – Saudi German Hospital Riyadh has marked a new era of excellence by becoming the first private hospital in the Riyadh region to earn the esteemed Magnet Designation.
Granted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), this top-tier recognition highlights the hospital’s commitment to superior patient care, nursing excellence, and groundbreaking innovations in professional nursing practice.
The achievement reinforces the institution’s role in advancing the national healthcare system in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Makarem Sobhi Batterjee, Vice Chairman of Saudi German Health, emphasized the significance of this accomplishment.
“This achievement aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030 healthcare transformation goals and further solidifies Saudi German Health’s role in advancing the nation’s healthcare system.

The Magnet Designation is a testament not only to the hospital’s advanced clinical operations but also to its robust focus on nursing leadership and overall patient outcomes.

In related news, Saudi German Hospital has also taken steps to strengthen its financial position.On 23 March 2025, the hospital completed a sale of a 4,000-square-metre plot in the Al-Sahafa district of Riyadh for SAR 122 million (US $32.5 million).
This asset, originally valued at SAR 7.99 million (US $2.13 million), represents a strategic move to boost cash flow and secure the organization’s fiscal stability.
The hospital’s net profits soared by 1,554% year-on-year to SAR 282 million (US $75.12 million) by the end of December 2024, indicating strong performance and promising future growth.
