EGYPT – Egypt’s healthcare landscape is set for a major boost as Alameda Healthcare Group, one of the country’s leading private healthcare providers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global health technology leader Philips.
This strategic partnership aims to enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient care by integrating advanced medical technology and digital health solutions across Alameda’s expanding network of facilities.
Under the agreement, both parties will work together to improve operational efficiency, streamline diagnostics, and optimize treatment outcomes.
The collaboration will see Philips deploy next-generation medical equipment, provide digital health solutions, and support continuous professional training at Alameda’s hospitals and clinics.
This initiative is expected to elevate the overall patient experience, offering accessible and high-quality care to communities throughout Egypt.
“This collaboration marks a new chapter in our mission to transform healthcare in Egypt,” said Fahed Khater, Chairperson of Alameda Healthcare Group.
“By leveraging Philips’ cutting-edge technology and global expertise, we aim to elevate patient care, improve accessibility, and optimize the operational performance of our hospitals and clinics.”
Philips, which has a longstanding legacy of more than 90 years in Egypt, will further strengthen its role in the nation’s healthcare infrastructure by supporting Alameda’s efforts to meet the evolving needs of patients.
Ahmad Makhlouf, General Manager and District Leader of Philips North Africa, emphasized the broader impact of the alliance, stating, “This partnership is more than a shared vision—it’s a strategic alliance to improve the lives of patients across Egypt.
“By combining Philips’ health technology expertise with Alameda’s high-quality clinical services, we’re confident we can drive meaningful change and make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and patient-centric.”
In a related development, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) has partnered with Alameda Healthcare Group to develop and manage a new hospital in Madinaty, Egypt’s largest urban community.
This world-class facility, expected to open in 2027, represents an investment exceeding EGP 5 billion.
Designed to serve around 200 beds, the hospital will deliver integrated medical services, attract medical tourism, and establish itself as a key destination for advanced healthcare in the region.
TMG’s partnership with Alameda marks the first of several planned ventures aimed at enhancing quality of life within the group’s communities across Egypt and abroad.
