USA – Nanalysis Scientific Corp., a leader in portable nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology, has introduced its next-generation 60 MHz Benchtop NMR spectrometer.
The company debuted the new instrument at the Pittcon Conference and Expo in Boston, Massachusetts.
CEO Sean Krakiwsky emphasized that the launch represents a major advancement in the company’s magnetic resonance technology. “We are excited to offer the new Nanalysis-60, which is a result of our ongoing innovation. This instrument significantly improves on our previous 60 MHz model,” he said.
Nanalysis will continue to offer its original 60 MHz spectrometer for price-sensitive customers, but the new model is designed for industry professionals who need enhanced performance.
“This new product targets customers in pharmaceuticals, food science, chemicals, security, advanced materials, mining, and academia. It runs on the same platform as our 100 MHz instrument and offers greater capabilities,” Krakiwsky added.
Key features of the new 60 MHz spectrometer
The upgraded spectrometer includes advanced capabilities designed to improve accuracy, sensitivity, and efficiency in chemical analysis:
- Higher Sensitivity and Resolution: Improved detection of small compound quantities and enhanced spectral clarity for better quantification.
- Automation: Features an optional autosampler and flow cell to support high-throughput applications.
- Expanded Software Suite: Offers Pulsed-Field Gradients for 2D NMR analysis and solvent suppression routines.
- Portable and Easy to Use: Like all Nanalysis spectrometers, it does not require superconducting magnets or liquid helium, making it cost-effective and user-friendly.
Krakiwsky highlighted the affordability and accessibility of the product: “Customers don’t need to spend millions on massive, complex systems. Instead, they can use our portable, reasonably priced instruments at the point of need.”
The new 60 MHz model is priced between the company’s legacy 60 MHz and 100 MHz versions and is now available for order.
Nanalysis plans to expand its product line, leveraging its advanced electronics, software, and magnet platform to introduce additional spectrometers at different price points.
